2025 Annual ReportThe Challenge
The University of Sydney Union (USU) needed their 2025 Annual Report to communicate their latest programs, events, and achievements. They felt previous reports had drifted from their core visual identity by overusing their secondary colour palette. The challenge was to rethink the design to focus on their primary yellow and black, introducing a more corporate feel where necessary while still representing their youthful core message.
The Solution
We defined the USU's primary yellow and black palette as a base structure, reserving the secondary colours strictly as supportive design elements to guide the reader. By pairing this focused colour strategy with clean typesetting and large, full-bleed photography, we captured the vibrancy of campus life while ensuring the final report remained highly professional.
